West German Pottery Spotted (23) – The Legend of Tim Tyler, TV Show

Thanks to Humphrey Gudgeon from Luxembourg who spotted this West German pottery on ‘The Legend of Tim Tyler: the boy who lost his laugh’, a German children’s TV series from 1979, and sent it in to Pots and pots.

Humphrey goes on to say that the series is fantastically dated in a 1970s way – definitely one for the retro- obsessed. In [the scene with West German pottery in] Tim wonders through a fairground, winning various prizes, one of which is obtained by throwing a ball into one of the West German vases.

Pots and Pots wholeheartedly agree that there are some great retro images in the show – its worth a look even if you don’t understand the German speech – you can see the show here.
