Carstens – Glaze

Ankara – This collectible decor usually comes in black with a turquoise base glaze. It is occasionally found with a red, yellow or black base glaze. Designed by Helmut Scholtis. Originally items always had 3 ‘rows’ however later produced items started to deviate from this rule.

Arkona – Introduced around 1956

Attika – Introduced around 1958. This Reliefserie covered a number of different molded designs.

Brasilia – This is a popular and hard to find decor. It also came in a blue colour.

Ceylon

Graz  – Introduced around 1955.

Hawaii  – Introduced around 1957.

Island  – Iceland.

Keltoi  – The Greek name for a group of people spread across Europe and the Iberian Peninsula.

Manila  – Introduced around 1968.

M-Series – This decor was only produced in brown and bronze glaze. It is distinguished by the textured surface patterns. These were part of the Carstens Luxus Series.
