The chance to put some of our 1950s West German plant pots in familiar surroundings was too good an opportunity to miss.

The plant stand itself has a main lower table with three angled feet and a further 3 levels supported from a central stem. The table surfaces are Formica with metal and plastic rims. It is currently for sale on eBay here.

West German plant pots can be fiendishly difficult to identify, I have started to catalogue all the plant pots we have along with details of those that can be positively identified (see here). The only ceramic item in the picture that I have certainty over the manufacture is the second item from the top which was produced by Dumler & Breiden.
